In life, not all relationships are productive. In fact, you will discover that those whom you have invested your time, money, resources and emotional may end up being a disappointment at one time or another. This is because God want us to make our "investment and trust relationships" only in Him and not in men. Jeremiah 17:5 "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD".
Being able to identify those who may disagree with our goals and visions at an early opportunity will remove strife and contention along the way. Unhealthy and power based disagreements are destructive and distractful to your vision and goals in life. They slow down the moment of your opportunities and make you question God's direction.
Jesus never wasted his time on those who criticized him or whose intention was to undermine his mission but was constantly seeking new people in new places. Like Dr. Murdock says- He was constantly arising and departing and going to new place, seeking to be with new people. He was constantly arising, departing and going to new places. He talked with many types of individuals of varied backgrounds including widows, tax collectors, sinners, wealthy, the sick and diseased and the poor. In short, Jesus went where He was celebrated (received). He went to those who wanted change.
Put your heart where you see potential change and where you are celebrated. Like Pastor Mwaura says – we must all come to the wise understanding that not everyone is called to be on your side or to see things the way you see them. The greatest liberation in life is when you get saved from pleasing people and start pleasing God instead.
